The time required for carrying out tests and delivering reports:
- emergencies: same day
- routine diagnostics: 3 days
- specialist tests: 8 days
- Culture tests are not accepted on Saturdays and on the day before all bank holidays. With regard to extended bank holidays and/or prolonged closures (August and December), it is advisable to call or email the day before to check that these tests are to go ahead and how long they are expected to take.
The reports can be collected personally at the office by presenting the collection form which contains the collection details.
DELEGATIONS: on the form there is a specific space to be filled in for any delegation to collect the report in question.
The reports can be downloaded online directly from this site, with a specific password provided upon request upon acceptance.
- The delivery time of biological material and venous samples is from 7.45 to 10.00. To perform blood tests you must fast
- containers and related collection rules are available for the collection of urine and feces; it is recommended not to carry out any manipulation of biological samples
- Culture tests are not accepted on Saturdays
- To perform vaginal, cervical and urethral swabs it is necessary to request an appointment at the secretariat
