Gruppo CEDAL’s Sports Medicine Unit provides specialist healthcare services in preventive medicine.
- Appointments for assessment of fitness to play sport are FREE for athletes under 18 eligible for healthcare in the Lombardy Region (requested on the Lombardy Region form of the sports association).
- For all other athletes, the centre uses the Regional Fee Scale
Don’t forget to book your sports medical appointment according to the expiry of the sports medical certification.
Please note: it is possible to bring the sports medical appointment forward by up to 30 days from the expiry.
The Centre is also committed to:
- combating and preventing doping
- organising seminars and talks for doctors, coaches and sports people
- collaborating closely with sports doctors, team physicians, GPs and coaches
- health education interventions with close coordination with the initiatives of CONI (the Italian National Olympic Committee), the Italian sports federations, sports promotion bodies, sports associations and school boards
